Tucked away in the heart of Goregaon Film City, right beside Sanjay Gandhi National Park, lies a hidden green sanctuary that gently awakens as winter gives way to summer. The forest begins to shift in mood, with sunlit clearings, dry leaves crunching underfoot, and fresh leaf flushes glowing in shades of tender green. Early summer blooms add quiet bursts of colour, while butterflies, bees, and other insects grow more active in the warming air. Look closely, and you may spot nature’s subtle wonders, a jewel beetle catching the sunlight, a camouflaged spider resting on bark, or skinks darting swiftly across the trail.
Amidst this seasonal transition, our guided Nature Walk invites you to slow down and observe how the forest adapts to the rising temperatures. With every pause and gentle step, you’ll notice butterflies basking in patches of sunlight, flitting between blooms, or delicately sipping nectar, each one adding movement and vibrancy to the landscape. Our naturalists will share insights into their behaviour, life cycles, and the vital role they play in sustaining the forest ecosystem during this changing season.
This trail is more than just a walk; it’s a sensory journey, a chance to notice the quiet shift from cool mornings to warmer days, and an opportunity for families to experience the forest together, learning and exploring with curiosity and wonder.
Please note: The walk involves a little downhill and uphill section. It is slightly challenging and not recommended for children below 5 years.
