Your gut microbiome — the trillions of microbes living in your digestive tract — plays a vital role in digestion, immunity, energy, mood, inflammation, and overall wellbeing. The good news is that with the right information and simple daily habits, it’s possible to support and improve gut health without expensive or complicated interventions.
This workshop begins with a practical, accessible talk led by certified health coach and founder of Copper + Cloves, Chef Sarah, who introduces the gut microbiome and shares easy, actionable tips to support digestive health.
The session then moves into a hands-on fermentation workshop with Chef Titiksa, who leads the Studio’s plant-based kitchen. You’ll learn how to make simple ferments at home using everyday, easy-to-source ingredients, and each participant will take home a jar with their own ferment to continue the process.
In between, we will gather for a shared lunch, a thoughtfully prepared spread that brings these ideas to life. Expect salads, a toastie, a drink, and dessert, each drawing on the techniques, flavours, and elements explored through salad-making and fermentation.
