In Pieces, In Public: Making Zines from the CityZine-Making Workshop by Ira Shukla
The city is made of fragments—colours, textures, conversations, public art, and fleeting everyday moments. This guided zine-making workshop invites participants to observe, collect, and reinterpret these fragments into a personal visual narrative.Using collage, drawing, and text, participants will create their own handmade zine inspired by the Lodhi Art District and their experiences of Delhi. The session encourages reflection on how we experience public space and how the city becomes a shared, evolving canvas shaped by memory, movement, and imagination.Open to beginners and enthusiasts alike, the workshop offers a space to slow down, notice the details around you, and translate them into intimate, expressive printed forms.
